Our clients, a significant player in the insurance space, had enjoyed significant growth since their launch four years ago.
Their modern technology solutions used a blend of third party suppliers and had set up the company for a strong future but they were experiencing growing pains. Some of the ‘quick wins’ implemented early in their journey were now restricting their future growth and pace of change.
The Solution
We focused on delivering a Standardised service via an improved Release process which reduced duplication of effort and time spent across the team. The resulting solution saw the majority of the work automated.
The project team, comprising individuals from both the client and ABN, worked together to deliver activities using a range of Agile approaches and methodologies. ABN provided hands on experience and related benefits including the provision of a Scrum Master who delivered hands on experience and training and enabled effective knowledge transfer
Members of the ABN team provided coaching services and acted as a sounding board to all members of the team.
Savings delivered by the decommissioning of duplicated tools more than offset the costs of the project.
